Bread Box Table

My idea for this table came from a project in Ready Made Magazine in which they took tin cans and put them together with threaded steel rods. I tried it out and really liked the results. I happened upon this sweet old-fashioned bread box at goodwill and used the same technique. The top is made of two cabinet squares.

Try it out! All you need is a drill, threaded steel rods, some nuts, and two things you want to turn into one thing. I've also tried it with wooden bowls and a cheese tray, old cigar boxes, and oddly shaped wooden things from Goodwill.

  2. Hehe....thank you Chris! Just for that spectacular comment I will have to make you something. I'm thinking some kind of contraption for displaying VHS tapes.
